Weber State put Utah on the college dance podium
Weber State's dance team won the Division I Hip Hop national championship at the Universal Dance Association College Nationals in Orlando in January 2026, its first trip to that event, and placed third in Division I Jazz, according to Weber State Athletics. In September 2026 the team wore Team USA colors at the International Cheer Union Pan American Championships in Mexico City and came home with Hip Hop gold and Jazz silver.
Competitive dance is not an Olympic sport. College titles are decided at events such as UDA College Nationals, and international medals come from championships like the ICU's.
