The 2026 fall

Utah football was 4-0 and 1-0 in the Big 12 after a 31-17 win at Iowa State on September 26, 2026, in Morgan Scalley's first season as head coach. Volleyball was 10-3 and 2-0 in the Big 12 after beating No. 17 Baylor 3-1 on September 27, in Alyssa D'Errico's first season. Women's soccer beat No. 23 UCF 2-0 the same day, which Utah's recap called the program's first win over a ranked team since October 26, 2023. Women's cross country finished second of 28 teams at the John McNichols Invitational on September 19, and Erin Vringer was named Big 12 Runner of the Week four days later.

In winter, women's basketball plays its 2026-27 season under head coach Gavin Petersen.
