The season so far
Utah opened with a 0-0 draw against Weber State at Ute Field on August 12 (opener preview). It won 2-0 at Utah Valley and 3-0 at home against Southern Utah, then lost 1-0 at home to Utah State and 2-1 at Utah Tech. A road stretch brought a 1-0 loss at Oregon, a 1-1 draw at Oregon State and a 5-1 win at Long Beach State.
Big 12 play opened with a 3-1 loss at Arizona State and a 1-0 home loss to TCU. On September 27 Utah beat No. 23 UCF 2-0 at Ute Field. Sophie Bellini scored in the third minute, Brooke Gardner headed in a Nevaeh Peregrina corner in the 30th and goalkeeper Anna Solomon made four second-half saves. Utah's recap called it the program's first win over a ranked team since a 2-0 win over No. 18 Arizona State on October 26, 2023.
What comes next
Utah plays at Iowa State on October 1, at Cincinnati on October 8 and at West Virginia on October 11, then hosts Arizona at Ute Field on October 16.
