Utah Valley women's soccer beat CSUN 5-2 on Oct. 31 to finish its first Big West season unbeaten and win the title outright. Josie Clawson scored twice, Nixan Jackson tied the program assist record and UVU hosts a semifinal on Nov. 7.
Salt Lake Community College won both Region 18 soccer championships in Herriman on Oct. 31: the men 3-1 over North Idaho to stay unbeaten at 16-0-3, the women on penalties over Snow College. SLCC volleyball clinched a share of the Scenic West title the same day.
BYU cousins Ellie Walbruch of Highland and Lucy Kesler of American Fork were both named 2025 All-Americans after Kesler helped set up Walbruch's winner in the Big 12 Tournament final. Both made the 2026 Hermann Trophy watch list.
Park City moguls skier Alli Macuga, a 2023 junior world champion and FIS Rookie of the Year, reached two World Cup podiums in 2023-24 and is on the 2026-27 U.S. moguls B team. The World Cup visits Deer Valley in January.
Murray's Ali Ibanez, a Cottonwood High graduate who learned the game with the Salt Lake Wrecking Crew, won Paralympic wheelchair basketball bronze at Tokyo 2020 and silver at Paris 2024. She plays for the Utah Wheelin' Jazz.
University of Utah Nordic skier Erica Lavén of Täby, Sweden, won the 2025 NCAA 7.5K classic in her first NCAA Championships start, added three more NCAA medals, and helped Utah win back-to-back team titles.

Brynlee Broekman is a senior from Orem, Utah, on BYU's 2027 women's gymnastics roster. BYU's 2026 releases list her as Brynlee Andersen-Broekman: a two-time All-Big 12 beam selection who tied her career high of 9.975 on beam at Clemson in March 2026.
Scarlett Sonnenberg is a sophomore all-arounder from Springville, Utah, on BYU's 2027 women's gymnastics roster. She made the 2026 All-Big 12 Freshman team and scored a career-high 9.950 on floor at the Big 12 Championship.
Deb Silva is a junior all-arounder from Lindon, Utah, on BYU's 2027 women's gymnastics roster. She tied for third on vault at the 2026 Big 12 Championship and won event titles on bars and floor during the 2026 season.
Avery Neff is a junior all-arounder from South Jordan, Utah, on the Utah Red Rocks' 2027 gymnastics roster. She was the 2026 Big 12 Gymnast of the Year, won the Big 12 all-around, bars and floor titles, and placed seventh in the all-around at the NCAA Championships.
Ella Zirbes is a senior from Stillwater, Minnesota, on the Utah Red Rocks' 2027 gymnastics roster. A seven-time All-American, she made the 2026 All-Big 12 team on vault, bars and floor and competed on floor at the NCAA Championships.
Camie Winger is a senior from Orem, Utah, on the Utah Red Rocks' 2027 gymnastics roster. She won the 2026 Big 12 beam title with a career-high 9.975 and made the All-Big 12 team on beam.
Alyssa Blanck is a 6-foot-2 forward from Salt Lake City who is on Montana's official 2026-27 women's basketball roster as a redshirt senior, after three seasons at Utah and a redshirt year at BYU. An Olympus High School product and former KSL-TV Class 5A MVP, she appeared in 23 games across her Utah career before joining the Lady Griz through the transfer portal.
Mya Witte is a senior vault and beam specialist from Greenacres, Florida, on Utah State's 2026-27 gymnastics roster. She was the 2026 Mountain West Championship MVP after a career-high 9.950 on beam and made the First-Team All-Mountain West on beam.
