About Utah State Aggies Women's Soccer
Utah State women's soccer plays at Chuck & Gloria Bell Soccer Field in Logan under head coach Manny Martins and competes in the Pac-12 Conference from 2026.
The non-conference season
The Aggies went 4-0 against Utah opposition, beating Utah Valley 1-0 and Utah 1-0 on the road, Utah Tech 8-1 at home and No. 13 BYU 4-0 in front of a sold-out record crowd of 3,181 at Bell Field on September 10, according to Utah State's recap. Their only losses came at Kansas and at Colorado, with home draws against Michigan (2-2) and Saint Mary's (1-1). The Saint Mary's draw on September 20 closed non-conference play at 7-2-2, and Utah State's recap said the Aggies entered that day on the nation's longest home unbeaten streak, 32 games.
Senior midfielder Summer Diamond led the team with four goals and 10 points through 11 matches, Ellie Hendrix and Samantha Sellers had nine points each and Capriel Winder led with six assists, according to Utah State's cumulative statistics. Four Aggies won Pac-12 weekly awards in September: Hendrix and goalkeeper Ivy Nystrom on September 1, and Solena Sellers and Summer Sofonia on September 15.
What comes next
Utah State opened Pac-12 play with a 2-1 home win over No. 22 Texas State on October 1. Utah State then won 3-0 at Colorado State on October 4 and 2-0 over Washington State at Bell Field on October 8. It won 1-0 at Boise State on October 11 on Rachel Reitz's penalty and drew 0-0 with Fresno State at home on October 17, Ivy Nystrom's fourth straight shutout. It lost 3-1 at Gonzaga on October 25, its first Pac-12 loss, which ended a nine-match unbeaten run; Solena Sellers scored the Aggies' goal, and the release said Utah State remained atop the Pac-12 standings. That left it 11-3-3 and 4-1-1 in the Pac-12 as of October 26, per Utah State's recaps. On October 30 it won 5-0 at Oregon State: Kunie Hirai scored twice, the first two-goal game of her college career, and the Aggies' nine assists set a program single-game record, per Utah State's recap, which said they had clinched a Pac-12 Championship berth. That left it 12-3-3 and 5-1-1 in the Pac-12 as of November 1. Utah State hosts the Pac-12 Championship at Bell Field on November 11-14.
