She also spent six years with club side Utah Avalanche and was named to the U17 Best XI at the 2022 US Youth Soccer National Championships.
The debut that put her on the map
As a true freshman in 2023, Diamond became the first true freshman in Utah State history to score a brace in her collegiate debut, netting two first-half goals in a 5-1 win over Weber State. Later that season she scored the game-winner that beat No. 1 BYU, and she finished the year on the Mountain West All-Newcomer Team after twice being named the conference's Freshman of the Week.
The setback, and the answer to it
Diamond's junior year ended the hard way. After playing 90 minutes in the Mountain West Tournament quarterfinal and 84 in the semifinal, she scored in the championship match at Boise State and was then injured midway through that game, missing Utah State's NCAA Tournament match entirely. She still made the Mountain West All-Tournament Team. Her senior season is the answer to it: ten starts, a team-leading scoring line, and a career-best finishing rate.
