Program identity
Utah State volleyball moved into the rebuilt Pac-12 for the 2026 season, a step up in weekly competition for a program that plays at the Wayne Estes Center in Logan. The Aggies were picked sixth of nine in the conference's preseason coaches' poll.
The 2026 roster is built on Utah
The Aggies' 2026 group leans heavily on in-state talent and transfers from other Utah programs. Sami Blackett arrived from Utah Valley after two First Team All-WAC seasons and leads Utah State in kills, service aces and points. Middle blocker Ava Napierski played alongside Blackett at Orem High School before the two reunited in Logan, and the rest of the 2026 signing class extends the Utah thread through the rotation.
A demanding opening schedule
Utah State opened 2026 with a non-conference slate that included Kentucky, Iowa State, UCLA, Utah and Weber State, and carried a 1-8 record into the back half of September. The Aggies' first win came on September 17 against Utah Valley, a 3-1 result in which the team set season highs in kills, hitting percentage, assists, digs and blocks.
