About Utah Women's Swimming and Diving
Utah women's swimming and diving competes in the Big 12 Conference and hosts meets at Ute Natatorium in Salt Lake City. Jonas Persson is head coach, Jos Smith is associate head coach and Landon Marzullo is head diving coach, and the same staff leads the men's team.
The season so far
The Utes opened their competitive season at the CMU Intermountain Shootout in Grand Junction, Colorado, on Oct. 2-3. Sophomore diver Cierra Cole won the 3-meter on Oct. 2 with 285.50, and junior Sarah Kaufman won the 1-meter on Oct. 3 with 240.60, with Cole second and Annalise Shrader third. In the pool, sophomore Maela McKallip was second in the 100 freestyle in 51.95 and sophomore Stephanie Oiesen third in the 200 backstroke in 2:03.93, according to Utah's recaps (season guide).
Last season
According to Utah's 2026-27 schedule release, the women finished seventh at the Big 12 Championships in 2026. Erin Palmer earned All-Big 12 first-team honors after a fourth-place finish in the 50 freestyle and was chosen for Team USA at the FISU America Games in Lima, Peru, in July 2026. She is not on the 2026-27 roster.

The schedule lists a women-only dual against Utah Tech at Ute Natatorium on Nov. 5, UNLV and Colorado Mesa there on Nov. 6, the Texas Diving Invitational on Nov. 11-13 and the US Open in Austin on Dec. 2-5.
