About Utah Men's Swimming and Diving
Utah men's swimming and diving competes in the Big 12 Conference and hosts meets at Ute Natatorium in Salt Lake City. Jonas Persson is head coach, Jos Smith is associate head coach and Landon Marzullo is head diving coach, and the same staff leads the women's team.

The Utes opened their competitive season at the CMU Intermountain Shootout in Grand Junction, Colorado, on Oct. 2-3. Junior diver Marti Llop Riera won the 3-meter on both days, with 293.70 on Oct. 2 and 342.50 on Oct. 3. Junior Nolan Dunkel was third in the 50 butterfly in 22.07, senior Jakub Walter third in the 100 butterfly in 48.99, and the 400 freestyle relay A team third in 2:59.11, according to Utah's recaps (season guide).

According to Utah's 2026-27 schedule release, the men finished third at the Big 12 Championships in 2026. Senior Nick Chirafisi won Big 12 gold in the 500 and 1650 freestyle, set the program record in the 200 and 500 freestyle and tallied 11 first-place finishes, and he and Evan VanBrocklin represented Utah at the NCAA Championships in Atlanta, per Utah's May 13 release.
