About Utah Tech Women's Soccer
Utah Tech women's soccer plays at Greater Zion Stadium in St. George under head coach Lexi Brown. It competes in NCAA Division I and, since July 1, 2026, the Big Sky Conference.
The nonconference season
Utah Tech opened with a 1-1 draw at UC Irvine on August 12 and a 4-2 loss at UC San Diego, where Ella Rusick scored twice (her story). At home it beat Westminster 3-1 and lost 3-0 to Portland, then won 1-0 at UC Riverside.
On August 30 the Trailblazers beat Utah 2-1 in St. George, which Utah Tech's recap called the program's first power-conference win in the Division I era. After an 8-1 loss at Utah State, Lataya Brost's 87th-minute goal beat Colorado State 1-0 on September 6, the program's first win against the Pac-12, according to Utah Tech. CSUN won 4-2 in St. George on September 10 despite two Brost goals, and the September 17 match at New Mexico was canceled (season preview).
What comes next
Big Sky play opens at Greater Zion Stadium against Portland State on October 1 and Montana on October 4. The Big Sky tournament is scheduled for November 11-15 in Missoula, Montana.
