The non-conference season
Weber State opened with a 0-0 draw at Utah on August 12, when sophomore goalkeeper Lauren Butorac made seven saves (opener preview). After a 4-1 home loss to Boise State on August 16, it beat Wyoming 2-1 on the road and Oregon State 2-1 at home. A loss at Long Beach State, a 1-0 win at Pacific and home losses to South Dakota State and UC Santa Barbara followed.
Utah Valley won 3-0 in Orem on September 19. Weber State closed non-conference play on September 25 with a 3-1 home win over Colorado State, with goals from Cadence Packer and Lily Blum and a Colorado State own goal, according to Weber State's recap.
What comes next
Big Sky play opens at Idaho on October 1 and at Eastern Washington on October 4. Weber State then hosts Utah Tech on October 8 and Southern Utah on October 11 at Wildcat Soccer Field.
