About Utah Men's Basketball
Utah men's basketball plays at the Jon M. Huntsman Center in Salt Lake City and competes in the Big 12 Conference, where 2026-27 is its third season. Alex Jensen, a former Ute and Utah Jazz assistant, was named the 17th head coach in program history on March 6, 2025.
The 2026-27 roster
Utah went 10-22 and 2-16 in the Big 12 in 2025-26, and only three players from that roster return: guards Obomate Abbey and Lucas Langarita and forward Babacar Faye, who redshirted the season through injury. The newcomers include Jackson Holcombe, First Team All-WAC at Utah Valley; TJ Burch, the 2026 Horizon League Defensive Player of the Year; Trey Campbell, the 2026 MVC Tournament Most Outstanding Player; and center Malek Gomma from Weber State.
