The season so far
The Trailblazers opened on September 2 at the NAU George Kyte Classic at Buffalo Park in Flagstaff, Arizona, placing second of five teams. Ryan Hatch, a Flagstaff native, was 10th over 4.5 miles in 23:02.2 (meet story).
At the UC Riverside Invitational on September 19, the men placed fifth of 25 teams in the 8K. Senior Ryan Hatch was 14th in 23:59.5, the second-fastest 8K in program history, and junior Brady Eager and sophomore Brett Bailey ran the sixth- and ninth-fastest, according to Utah Tech's recap.
What comes next
Utah Tech runs at Southern Utah's Color Country Invitational in Cedar City on October 3 and the Under Armour Pre-National Invitational in Terre Haute, Indiana, on October 16. The Big Sky Championships are on October 30 at Buffalo Park in Flagstaff, and the NCAA West Regional on November 13 in Sacramento, California.
