Westminster Men's Golf

Westminster men's golf competes in the RMAC and shares a director of golf, Denise Larson, with the women's program. Alec Williams is the assistant coach, according to the official roster. Five of the nine golfers on the 2026-27 roster list Utah hometowns, from Smithfield in Cache Valley to Moab.

A tie for third to start

The Griffins opened the season tied for third of 12 teams on the official schedule at the Travis Roy Memorial, hosted by South Dakota Mines at The Powder Horn Golf Community in Sheridan, Wyoming, on September 13-15. They shot 873, 9 over par, behind champion Colorado Christian and runner-up Colorado School of Mines, according to the official recap. Senior Hayden Howell tied for fourth at 1 under, and senior Nic Jensen tied for 10th.

As of September 22, four fall events remained: the Bishop Invitational in DuPont, Washington, on September 25-26; the WWU Men's Invitational in Bellingham, Washington, on September 28-29; the Ryan Palmer Foundation Invitational in Amarillo, Texas, on October 12-13; and the West/South Central Region Preview in San Antonio on October 26-27.

Last season, and the classroom

Westminster finished sixth at the 2026 RMAC Championship at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada, in April. Wyatt Toney placed eighth for his first career top-10 finish. Howell was named First Team All-RMAC and Jensen Second Team after the season.

The program's academic record stands out in the conference. Aiden Pavey won the RMAC Men's Golf Summit Award in April for the highest GPA among golfers at the championship site, a 3.97 in finance. In July the team won its fifth Brechler Award, the RMAC honor for the top team GPA in the sport, with a 3.478.
