Utah State gymnastics enters 2027 in a new conference after winning its old one twice in a row. In 2026 the Aggies won the Mountain West Championship for a second straight year, the first back-to-back postseason titles in program history, shared the regular-season crown with Air Force and went 19-8, unbeaten at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum. They reached the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional, the program's 29th regional. For 2026-27 Utah State is one of four teams in the Pac-12's gymnastics league, with Boise State, Oregon State and Southern Utah. The Utah State gymnastics team page links the official roster and schedule.
How the 2026 season unfolded
The Aggies opened at the Best of Utah meet in West Valley City on Jan. 12, placing second with 195.825 behind Utah and ahead of BYU and Southern Utah. Five days later they beat Southern Utah 195.700-195.550 in their home opener. A then-season-high 196.075 in a loss at Oregon State followed on Jan. 25, then a win at the Boise State Quad on Jan. 30 with 195.350.
February brought a second-place finish at the Air Force tri-meet, a win at USU's own quad meet on Feb. 9, a road loss at San Jose State and two home conference wins: 196.325-194.950 over Boise State on Feb. 20 and 196.025-195.825 over Air Force a week later. The best stretch came in early March. On March 2 the Aggies scored 196.875 at Southern Utah, the third-highest total in program history, and on March 6 they beat No. 25 Oregon State 196.650-196.150 at home, the 10th-highest. That sequence was part of a school-record six straight meets at 196.000 or better, by head coach Kristin White's bio.
USU's schedule page lists the team 19-8 overall and 8-0 at home, counting each opponent in a multi-team meet as its own result. The Aggies went 4-0 against Southern Utah. The 19 wins are the program's most since 1986, by USU's end-of-season banquet release.

At the Mountain West Championships in Boise on March 21, Utah State scored 196.400 to finish ahead of Boise State (196.200), San Jose State (195.800) and Air Force (195.750). Mya Witte was named championship MVP after a career-high 9.950 on beam, tied for the second-highest beam score in program history. The day before, six Aggies earned seven All-Mountain West honors.
