Westminster men's lacrosse won the 2026 RMAC regular-season title outright and lost the conference final in overtime. Luke Sillstrop and Christian Jones became the program's first All-Americans.
About Westminster Men's Lacrosse
Westminster men's lacrosse plays at Dumke Field in Salt Lake City and competes in the RMAC. Brad Lavoie is listed as head coach on the 2026-27 roster.
The 2026 season
Westminster went 11-5 and 9-1 in the RMAC in 2026. A six-game win streak to close the regular season gave the Griffins their second RMAC regular-season title, won outright, and the right to host the conference tournament at Dumke Field.
The Griffins beat Northwest Nazarene 20-10 in the April 24 semifinal. Two days later they lost the championship game 12-11 in overtime to Concordia Irvine, which scored 1:02 into the extra period and took the RMAC's automatic NCAA Division II tournament bid, according to the official recap. Sillstrop's goal with 11 seconds left in regulation had forced overtime.
First All-Americans
Luke Sillstrop, an attacker from Encinitas, California, led the RMAC with 45 goals in 14 games and was named RMAC Attacker of the Year. Christian Jones, a goalkeeper from South Jordan, led the conference with a .603 save percentage and was named RMAC Goalkeeper of the Year. In May, USA Lacrosse named both seniors Honorable Mention All-Americans, the first All-Americans in Westminster men's lacrosse history. Twelve Griffins made All-RMAC teams.

Home of men's lacrosse; 2026 RMAC tournament host
An artificial-turf field rebuilt on top of a two-level parking structure in fall 2005. It seats 1,200, and LED lighting was added in September 2020.
