Snow College Badgers Football

Snow College football plays at Terry Foote Stadium in Ephraim under head coach Zac Erekson. It competes in NJCAA Division I and, from 2026, the Southwest Junior College Football Conference, whose eight teams make up NJCAA Region 14. The Badgers had been an independent since the 2019 season, after the Western States Football League ended with the 2018 season.

The season so far

Snow began the season ranked 13th in the NJCAA Division I preseason poll. It opened on August 22 by beating No. 10 Garden City Community College 31-17 in Ephraim, where Snow's recap credited three second-half takeaways. The conference debut on September 5 at Cisco College in Texas was a 39-10 win after the Badgers trailed 10-0 late in the first quarter (full recap).

The next two weeks were losses. Snow led 23-7 at halftime at Kilgore College on September 12 and lost 35-30 after Kilgore scored 28 consecutive second-half points. The Rangers scored twice on fumble returns over the game. Back home on September 19, No. 7 Trinity Valley won 39-30 with two defensive touchdowns, an 87-yard field-goal return and a 61-yard interception return, although Snow held the ball for more than 39 minutes and converted all five fourth-down attempts.

What comes next

Snow beat Tyler Junior College 26-24 at Terry Foote Stadium on September 26 on a field goal as time expired. It then plays at Blinn College on October 3, at New Mexico Military Institute on October 17 and hosts Navarro College on October 24. Snow's schedule lists SWJCFC postseason dates of October 31 and November 7.
