Snow College Athletics launched *From the Badger Den* on August 12, and the show that went to air is not quite the one the department announced in July.
The July 13 release named Director of Broadcasting Joe Williams and Sports Information Director Drayson Ball as the hosts. The podcast's own page on Snow's athletics site now lists Ball alongside Tanner Wilkinson, described as the "Voice of the Badgers." The department has not published an explanation for the change, and the rest of the format arrived as advertised.
What the show is
*From the Badger Den* is a weekly podcast covering all Snow College sports. Ball and Wilkinson handle analysis, highlights and interviews with Snow coaches and student-athletes.
New episodes air Wednesdays at 9 a.m., the slot the July announcement promised. The current run is labelled Season 1 (2026-27) on the athletics site, with full episodes collected in a YouTube playlist.
That is a broader remit than a game broadcast or a single-team preview. Snow fields football, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's soccer, volleyball, softball, rodeo, cheer, and women's cross country and track. An all-sports weekly show has to move between several of those in the same episode.
Where to find it
Snow lists five routes to the podcast: the SnowTV YouTube channel, the Snow College Athletics YouTube channel, Apple Podcasts, Spotify and TeamHive.live. The video versions live on the two YouTube channels; the others carry audio-only.
The athletics department also points fans to its Facebook, Instagram and X accounts for episode updates. Those official links are the ones to use — an all-sports college podcast is exactly the kind of title that attracts similarly named feeds.
The hosts
Drayson Ball is Snow's sports information director, which makes him the person already responsible for the department's public information flow. Tanner Wilkinson carries the "Voice of the Badgers" billing on the podcast page, the title normally attached to a program's play-by-play broadcaster.
Between them that is the release desk and the microphone — the two roles closest to what actually happens in a Snow week. It also gives the podcast an unambiguous identity: this is a Snow College Athletics production, not an independent fan show. For formal news, the department's written releases remain the record; the podcast is where the context around them goes.
It launched into a busy fall
The timing gave the show something to talk about immediately.
Snow College football is 2-0, having beaten No. 10 Garden City Community College 31-17 at home on August 22 and won 39-10 at Cisco College on September 5. It is the only unbeaten football team among Utah's college programs.
Volleyball is 7-4 and ranked No. 14 nationally, with freshman middle blocker Emily Kenison already named Scenic West Athletic Conference Player of the Week. The Badgers have played all 11 of their matches at neutral-site invitationals and do not host anyone until Salt Lake Community College visits Ephraim on September 18.
Men's soccer is in Scenic West play. Snow hosts SLCC on September 10 and USU Eastern on September 12, two of the three Utah junior-college programs that share the conference.
The football team's next assignment takes it a long way from Ephraim: Kilgore College in Kilgore, Texas on September 12, a 6 p.m. MT kickoff with live stats and no listed broadcast. Volleyball is at the Bruin Bash at Salt Lake Community College the same weekend, with four matches across September 11 and 12 including No. 1 Miami Dade College.
For a weekly all-sports show in its first month, that is three programs generating real news at once — which is the case for the format the department chose, and the test of whether one episode a week is enough to carry it.
What is not yet public
Snow has not announced an episode-by-episode plan, a rotation across sports, or a fixed runtime. It has not said whether episodes stream live or stay available indefinitely on every platform.
Nor has the department explained the change in the hosting lineup between the July announcement and the August launch. Joe Williams is not listed on the current podcast page.
